It Works!, My daughter lived in a very old house at college and came home with clothes and bedding that smelled horribly of mold/mildew. The Odorzout laundry product worked on all her clothes, while the all-surface one helped get the odor out of the mattress and box-spring. I'll admit it took a few applications, where I sprinkled it on, let it sit for days, then vacuumed. But she now sleeps on it with no problem.
Works Just as Stated!, This was my second purchase of this product. I have a front-load washer and have been having trouble with mildewy smelling clothes for some time, especially denim. I now use a shake of this in each load and have soaked extra-smelly items in hot water & Odorzout and they came out smelling clean and fresh. I would definitely recommend.
ODORZOUT Powder 24 oz, I purchased this product to remove the smell from jeans. I have had to segregate jeans used to work in the garage on repair and restoration projects to prevent the smell from impacting other laundry. Even the closet/bedroom has taken on an odd odor from the jeans. I tried this product using Arm & Hammer Free Laundry detergent and two tablespoons of ODORZOUT for 4 pair of jeans (40w x 36L)it did nothing. I washed them a second time using the same detergent and half a cup of additive. The washed/wet jeans were covered in residue that did not rinse off. I washed them another time with no products in an attempt to remove the residue. Still no change in the smell of the jeans. After I dried the jeans the filter was clogged by the powder, just removing the filter sent the powder into the air and all over my laundry room, should have held my breath! (scent free Downy fabric softener used also during wash cycle and a scent free dryer sheet during drying)

Now, the product did absolutely nothing for the jeans.
It just didn't work..., Not to be a downer or anything but we have a front-loader washer and were really hoping that this could help eliminate a persistent odor in our laundry. We tried it for several weeks at the recommended dose then even doubled that but still absolutely no result... I wish it had worked. We were really hoping.
Fresh Towels!, I learned about this in a cleaning book. It is WONDERFUL! I wash all my linens in hot (130 degrees) water but couldn't understand why my towels smelled foul after the 1st shower. I do not use fabric softners.

Works First Time Used, I had some stale smelling gym socks/towels that no matter how often I washed them and no matter what I washed them with, they still had a moldy smell. My sister told me about this miracle stuff called Odorzout and I immediately went out to Amazon.com to see if it was available (my sister told me that it is very hard to find locally; she only knew of one store that carried it).

I only used two teaspoons for an oversize load (put all of the gym socks, gym and pool towels in this load) and everything came out smelling clean first wash/first time I used this on these items. No more moldy smell anymore ... WOW!!! I highly recommend. I also read that Odorzout has another format of this product that is used to remove pet odors from carpets, pet bedding, etc.
odorZstillhere!!, Bought this thinking I would get out that mildew smell from wet towels the kids let sit out. Save your money.
It just works., I buy clothes from ebay. Important: If something has a really, really hard to remove odor, like clothes that previously belonged to a smoker, then soak it. The instructions say to add a few tablespoons to the washer, but that doesn't usually cut it. I dampened the garment, put it in a plastic wash tub, sprinkled it liberally with Odorzout, and rubbed the powder in.

It very much works!, I bought Pure Ayre years ago when Babycenter.com (oh, how I miss you!) was still around. Two children later I am finally running out. It's great for the air, diaper bags (we don't use a Genie, just biodegradable baggies) and, best of all, clothing. You can use a spritz of this on fabric and it immediately eliminates odor with no harm to the clothes. And, as I said, it really lasts. One of the best things to add to a shower present gift basket.
Works GREAT and QUICK, THIS IS GREAT!!! I spray my diaper pail and my diapers, and have no more odors! I started out spraying just the pail, with each use, and that works too...that smell that tried to climb out was stopped in it's tracks. Really, really impressive how quick this thing works. Definietly going to buy the largest size available. Doesn't seem to affect the diapers either (meaning wear and tear).

Vamoose! Fragrance Free 32-ounce Doesn't work

Doesn't work, I purchased this product to remove heavy cigarette odor from a sofa. It didn't work! It did diminish the odor somewhat, but for the price of this product, I was expecting it to disappear completely. I only got one application out of a full size bottle and would not purchase this again. Save yourself some money and get ZEP Smoke Odor Eliminator.
So far so good, By the end I had tried a lot of things to get the smell out of my new(used) car. I have to admit, just by cleaning my car like crazy (leather seats, washing all plastic parts down, shampoo'ing the carpet) I was able to get most of the smell out, but not all of it. When my truck would sit in the sun for a few hours I would come back and it would stink. I sprayed the heck out of every part of it with this stuff and let it air out. They say there is a funny smell, I totally agree, stinks like vinegar. It smelled terrible for about 2 days, but the one thing I did notice is the smoke was gone. So far it has only been a week but I am very impressed, didn't matter how much febreeze I used it would always come back. Vinegar smell is pretty much gone, there really isn't much of any smell in my truck now. I will write another review if the smell comes back, vinegar or cigarette....I only used about 6-8 oz of the 32oz bottle btw, but I didn't spray the seats b/c I had already cleaned them. Full size truck, double cab. I think I'm going to sell my left overs on ebay...

Willert Home Prod. 59T Closet Deodorizer Doesn't seem to be doing anything for the closet

good product, not the best price, I like this product as I have used it before. It is in my closets all the time to help with any odor or smell. The only thing is that I found it twice as cheap at walmart.
Works great!, Put it near the trash can in the kitchen. It removed the bad smell within an hour! I don't know if it works in a large area but in the small place it does.
Doesn't seem to be doing anything for the closet, The product does not seem to be doing anything for the closet. Therefore, we will not be buy this again.
Capable car-freshener, We bought a used vehicle in the last few months and, of course, one of the issues someone else's old car presented us was a stale, air-freshener resistant odor. No matter how long we left the windows open or what other products we tried--and we tried many, the offensive odor lingered. We even tried a $200 overnight ozone treatment on top of a thorough interior detail to no avail. Our search for a solution lead us to activated charcoal, and the Willert Closet Deodorizer. Within a day of placing this neat, secure charcoal packet in the auto most of the odor was tamed. Although there remains an underlying odor, it's far better than the result from any of the other treatments we'd tried. If Willert can tame the accumulated decade-old odors of a used car, I'd feel confident recommending it for a typical closet. Our family will be buying more--for our car, home, and office needs. And in case you're wondering, it's now been about three months since we originally bought the Willert deodorizer. Still working.
Closet deodorizer that works!, This is a wonderful product! My local store discontinued stocking them. I went to Amazon.com and there they were. This product is fantastic - keeps our large and small closets fresh, no residual smells, plus they are long lasting. Love this closet deodorizer.
No effect on odor, Placed two in large closet. Still smelled musty. Moved one to a very small closet, still musty. These were a fail for me.
Works great!, I'm very impressed with how well this product works. I lived in an old house with a mold problem and I got used to the musty odor. When I moved, that's when I noticed that my closet full of clothes and shoes smelled awful. I tried all kinds of sprays and nothing worked. Found this on Amazon and bought it. It took about a week before I could tell a difference. Now the smell is completely gone. I'm pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of the charcoal. I would buy this product again and would recommend it.
Eh...., Maybe it works well in some cases, but didn't really work for me. I put this thing in my closet because I-don't-know-what is causing an unpleasant smell, which builds up while the door is shut. I guess it might have improved the smell slightly, but didn't work nearly as well as I was hoping. I got the impression this was an odor sponge, soaking in any smells... nope.
awesome product, If you need a deodorizer buy this product. I had a musty smelling closet that made my clothes stink. Bought this and it really makes a difference. I can smell fabric softener again. Its well worth the price.
Great deodorizer for closets., I used to buy this product locally until the store stopped selling it. Went without it for a while and then, happily, found it online. It is easy to use, and lasts about a month keeping my clothes closets odor free. Takes up very little space and you can tell it is expended when all the charcoal has dried up.
