Works great!, Put it near the trash can in the kitchen. It removed the bad smell within an hour! I don't know if it works in a large area but in the small place it does.
Doesn't seem to be doing anything for the closet, The product does not seem to be doing anything for the closet. Therefore, we will not be buy this again.
Capable car-freshener, We bought a used vehicle in the last few months and, of course, one of the issues someone else's old car presented us was a stale, air-freshener resistant odor. No matter how long we left the windows open or what other products we tried--and we tried many, the offensive odor lingered. We even tried a $200 overnight ozone treatment on top of a thorough interior detail to no avail. Our search for a solution lead us to activated charcoal, and the Willert Closet Deodorizer. Within a day of placing this neat, secure charcoal packet in the auto most of the odor was tamed. Although there remains an underlying odor, it's far better than the result from any of the other treatments we'd tried. If Willert can tame the accumulated decade-old odors of a used car, I'd feel confident recommending it for a typical closet. Our family will be buying more--for our car, home, and office needs. And in case you're wondering, it's now been about three months since we originally bought the Willert deodorizer. Still working.
Closet deodorizer that works!, This is a wonderful product! My local store discontinued stocking them. I went to Amazon.com and there they were. This product is fantastic - keeps our large and small closets fresh, no residual smells, plus they are long lasting. Love this closet deodorizer.
No effect on odor, Placed two in large closet. Still smelled musty. Moved one to a very small closet, still musty. These were a fail for me.
Works great!, I'm very impressed with how well this product works. I lived in an old house with a mold problem and I got used to the musty odor. When I moved, that's when I noticed that my closet full of clothes and shoes smelled awful. I tried all kinds of sprays and nothing worked. Found this on Amazon and bought it. It took about a week before I could tell a difference. Now the smell is completely gone. I'm pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of the charcoal. I would buy this product again and would recommend it.
Eh...., Maybe it works well in some cases, but didn't really work for me. I put this thing in my closet because I-don't-know-what is causing an unpleasant smell, which builds up while the door is shut. I guess it might have improved the smell slightly, but didn't work nearly as well as I was hoping. I got the impression this was an odor sponge, soaking in any smells... nope.
awesome product, If you need a deodorizer buy this product. I had a musty smelling closet that made my clothes stink. Bought this and it really makes a difference. I can smell fabric softener again. Its well worth the price.
Great deodorizer for closets., I used to buy this product locally until the store stopped selling it. Went without it for a while and then, happily, found it online. It is easy to use, and lasts about a month keeping my clothes closets odor free. Takes up very little space and you can tell it is expended when all the charcoal has dried up.
