    • the stink is mostly gone! Our storyWe've been battling our basement since we moved into our new rental home almost two months ago. It's extremely rare to have a basement in Phoenix AZ. Apparently neighborhood cats and mice found it novel as well and decided to use it as a toilet since the previous owner/occupants left the outside cellar door wide open the majority of the time. The stench and dampness it's pretty wet here right now and we're in a very low part of the city was pretty overwhelming.
    This odor eliminator is about to be eliminated I had really high expectations for this product after reading the other reviews. I don't understand how a couple people can have such overwhelming results from the same product that I'm about to pitch into my compost pile. Right now I'm thinking that perhaps I've purchased three worthless bags of rocks.My friend is an exotic cat breeder and has 22 cats in her home. She uses this type of product and swears by them. She has two litter boxes right in the living room yet there is zero odor anywhere. However she did purchase hers from another online business other than Amazon whether or not that makes a difference. These rocks look just like the decorative white rocks you can buy for landscaping and since I've had them for over a month now without any results whatsoever I'm considering having them tested. I even put them out in the sun all day to refresh them thinking maybe they're like a new cell phonethey have to be charged first before using.I scoop my litterboxes every other day yet the odor is everpresent. I've shampooed the carpet washed walls laundered throw rugs opened windows and doors for more ventilation etc. yet litter box odors and cooking odors aren't even phased by the presence of the rocks.Hopefully others will have a different experience.
    Seems to be working
    I am impressed! My sister introduced me to this product and voiced her positive impression. I was dubious but figured it was worth the test as I was tired of smelling the cat box in each of our 2 bathrooms. The improvement is unmistakable. I would not be without this product again.
    Pretty good for the price I will be honest if your pet has to use the litter tray you are going to smell it at first that's just the way of things. However once that moment has passed these particular odor eating rocks will hold you in good stead. I haven't had a problem since I bought them and I'd recommend them to anyone. You can't beat the price for the result.For some context my cat's litter tray is in quite a small space at the top of a stairwell in front of the door to my room.
    Doesn't work for my particular situation I put two bags of this product in a small walkin clothes closet the only place I have room to put my kitty litter.It's been in there for two days with no noticeable difference.

    • Smoker in love There are heavy smokers in my apartment and this keeps my place smelling great! EVERYONE who visits mentions how nice my home smells. I've never found another product that works this well and I love that it isn't a heavy scent floral vanilla fruity etc. I have a small apartment. I put one of these on top of the fridge and it keeps my kitchen dining room and living room smelling fresh and good. It's hard to find the Advanced Odor Eliminator around here. I've run into three other people who were also looking for it. They all swear by it and go out of their way to find it as well.
    doesn't work That video on people going into a stinky yucky room and not smelling the stink is an out and out lie. I put this Febreze in my utility room where the kitty litter box sits. It did not eleminate the odor and lasted less than 10 days. Too expensive to use in a really stinky area. Very disappointed in this product.
    First febreeze product I don't like. I love all things Febreeze. It's the only laundry odor product I can use because it doesn't use perfumes. I've always liked that I couldn't detect any odor that was febreeze and it removed dog smells from clothing and bedding. My sense of smell has dulled due to medication so it may very well have a scent.When I first bought this item I used it in my RV when the toilet clogged and required hiring someone to empty it. The odor was Disturbing is the nicest word I can think of. It was fantastic. The odor was completely gone and that was something inhad not expected.Since that time a year ago I believe the formula has changed or I'm getting my sense of smell back. I bought a couple of these and set one in the restroom of my two room cabin. It's a tiny cedar log cabin. The first few weeks it did as. Expected but one day I woke up very nauseous. There was a strange odor permiating the cabin that I could not locate. It smelled like death. It's an odor you cant quite describe and it was not only upsetting I lost my breakfast twice. I was looking up information on that particular odor to see if it applied to non human animals thinking something had died under my cabin.It was then I located the source. It was the month old Febreeze air freshener. It was difficult getting close to it to snatch it up and throw it out the back door as hard as I could. I thought I'd gotten a bad one or something. It had been fine for at least three weeks.Two weeks later I smelled something similar. An intense disturbing odor wafting through the air that hit my gag reflex hard. I found it quickly this time. It was a different aroma of this same product. I placed this one about a week after the first one. Like the first one it had become unbearable and the scent seemed to have changed as if it had gone rancid.Can a chemical product like this go bad after several weeks? The ones I bought the year before were in place until they dried out. I bought quite a few of them and none did annoying like this. I was a bit shocked but I couldn't be sure that it may have been my sense of smell recovering.Until Febreeze adresses this issue I wouldnt recommend this particular product. All other Febreeze products I use with enthusiastic abandon.

    Good at eliminating odors but VERY STRONG! I have this in my half bath on the main level of the house because we have a litter box in there and on a vets' orders we do not use scented cat litter.This air freshener is good at keeping the bathroom smelling fresh however after we first put it in there we noticed that the air freshener was also keeping most of the main level fresh as well. The scent is extremely strong for such a little air freshener. If you have gotten headaches from other people's perfumes or public bathroom air fresheners you might want to avoid this and try something a little less potent.
    Love this! I didn't think I would like them so much! Keeps my apartment smelling fresh all day I had tried other products and nothing has worked like this. 4 stars because it should have refills.
    Love the product but NOT this scent! We love the Set and Refresh because we have very few plugs in our apartment to usethe other types of fresheners. The Set and Refresh is easy to use in the hallway bythe litter box and poses no electrical threat to the cats either.HOWEVER this scent the advanced one is not their finest hour!I don't care for it at all. It is like a mix of grapefruit scent and something elsenot sure what. So if you like grapefruit you'll like this. I don't!I prefer the one with the scent of Gain. The house ALWAYS smells fresh and clean with that oneeven by the litter box. But it is getting harder and harder to find in our area.

    • Works! A local store was selling this product in the same aisle as cat litter and decided to give it a try. It works great! I have it placed in a small bathroom that also houses our cat's litter box. The bamboo rain scent isn't overwhelming and it really helps with the odor. We also have 2 dogs and have decided to use in our main living room as well. Def worth a try! Works great in our house.
    They do the job! I've been using these odor absorbing gels for the past year. I think they are a bit pricey but I save a little by ordering through Amazon's subscribe and save program. I use these in my incontinent mother's apartment and there is virtually no odor. The smell is pleasant but nonintrusive. In my own home I use them to prevent pet and food odors. Scattered through the house they keep it fresh smelling without any perfume or chemical smell. The jar design makes them pet and kid friendly. A jar seems to keep its potency for about four months for me.
    Doesn't work This product does not work as it claims. I live in a 1000 square foot condo with two medium dogs. We are clean freaks and vacuum 3 times a week. That combined with 6 of these dispersed in our living room does not completely dissipate the dog smell.

    • Amazing When I ordered this product I had read reviews stating how well this stuff works.and they were right. All you need is one spray of this stuff and you are good to go. The smell is not offensive and it eliminates odors in a matter of seconds. I use it as a bathroom spray but apparently this stuff is also used for intense situations such as decay etc..
    Amazing product I first came across this product when working as a doctor's assistant at UCLA Medical Center 19 years ago as they had these bottles in the restroom. I kept a sample bottle waiting for the day that I could find it. Back then internet commerce wasn't as popular or userfriendly.
    The best prodcut EVER! I found this product in my Mom's apartment after she was sent to hospice. The cigarette smoke was so stale and strong it made me nauseaus. You could even smell stale smoke in the hallway by her door t was THAT strong of an odor. She was a 34 pack a dayer and never opened windows. A few spritzes and the next day when I went back no smell. The true test was when I had to sell her car. The car smelled awful smoke again a few sprays kept the windows up and smell was GONE. A week later when showing the car still no smell! Anyone can cover it up with fabreeze or the like this gets rid of it.
    Best odor eliminator yet! I saw this product in a hospital and when the patient came home all the little bottles they had brought into her room came with her. When a wellmeaning nail stylist came to the home to do a manicure the smell from the products was horrific. Two sprays of this stuff and the odor was gone. Amazing. Now I have it in all my bathrooms.
    Best stuff ever!! I'm a nurse and have used many different odor eleminators in many different hospitals. This stuff is BY FAR the BEST!! Completely eleiminates odors. Scent is nice but not overwhelming.

    goodbye stinch I recommend this product to anyone. I knew of this product while working in a hospital. I purchased it to remove stinch from my home and car. It removes the hardest and blatant of all smells fart vomit smell ciggarette stinch rotten food left under a car seat.
    didn't like this product The scent for this product is overwhelming. Rather than reducing unpleasant smells I found it tried to drown them out with its fragrance. Definitely not a friendly choice for anyone with sensitivities to perfume or even chemical sensitivities. Odor eliminator is not a good description for this item. I wish I hadn't wasted my money.
    Best spray in the world!!! This spray is amazing! My mom recieved it during a stay in the hospital and we've been using it at home ever since. One spray and bad odors are gone.
    Very powerful. It works! I am amazed how powerful this stuff is. I have had some household odors that have been very difficult to conquer. After using the spray the odors are completely eliminated! Totally worth the price.

    • Awesome!!! Checked around on the web for the best odor eliminator and this came up. It's awesome used it in my car to get rid of the dog smell and boy does it work. Sprayed it on once and the smell is gone completely. Now the car just smells of nothing.
    Did not eliminate odors as described Purchased this item on the recommendation of a car website to help eliminate stagnant odors in the heating/cooling system of my car. Appropriate use is to spray into the exterior air intakes as well as into the interior vents and the odor should be eliminated once it blows though. I used the spray as instructed and it did not eliminate the odor.Subsequently I spilled coffee with cream on the carpeting in my office. I sprayed the product on that as well and I can still smell spoiled milk.I'm not sure if this product has a shelf life or expiration date but I don't recommend wasting your money. I paid nearly $10 for the item and an additional $67 for shipping.
    Atmosklear does not work I purchased Atmosklear to eliminate or at least reduce the musty smell we have had with a recent used car purchase. The day it arrived I also had a sick dog who vomited in a couple spots. The vomit had a very foul odor.This product did not work at all. Following directions for use in our vehicle and waiting 24 hours the smell was still there and not even slightly reduced. And one would think that spritzing this on the dog spots immediately after they occurred would be the best situation for the product to work effectively and still nothing. The odor remained.
    Ms sceptical This is the best product I have found for odors in fabric and carpet. It eliminates the odor and does not leave a weird chemical smell.I wish the bottle was bigger though. I will go through this size pretty fast.

    • Great! I've always liked this scent and think it helps a bit sometimes you need to shake up the gel so that fresher stuff finds its way to the top. Doesn't cut really strong odors but it helps some.
    This is a fragrance based product. I ordered this product because I believed it to be odor eliminating i.e. adsorptive but it's actually just a fragrance based product. It does smell nice and it's a strong masking fragrance but I'm quite fragrance sensitive and it makes my nose burn.If you're looking for an air freshener this is a nice one. If you're looking for an odor eliminator you might be better off with fragrance free products based on activated charcoal.
    hard to tell Bought this to eliminate our mouse smell in the basement and bathroom. Not sure wether the the Fresh Wave odor eliminating Crystals did much good. We got rid of our micethen did some painting and replaced the false ceiling.
    I'm impressed I really didn't think this would work worth a beanI was wrong. We have the kitty litter in a closet there's a hole in the door for the cats to get to it. Normally when you open that closet door you are knocked over from the smell small area with no ventilation = overpowering odor We had tried several differnt odor absorbers and neutralizors with no success. I put a jar of this in the closet and forgot about it. When I went into the closet to clean the litter there wasn't hardly any odor. Several days in a row I wasn't knocked over by the smell before I even realized that it wasn't happening. Some people have complained about the smell of this product and I don't even smell that.
    I love this stuff!!! Someone told me about this a year ago when I had some smell in my basement that reminded me of well.I'll spare you but gross!! Popped one of these open and poof!!! No more smell. I have extra on hand just in case I might need them.
    Great for the litter box This stuff really does work. We have it near the litter box and it really does eliminate the odors without making the room smell like mountain mist or lavender vanilla surprise or whatever. Very pleased.
    This stuff works! I left a pot on the stove and it burned the contents and smoked up the kitchen and house. I really thought I would have to repaint the ceilings because the smell seem to have invaded the sheetrock. I tried EVERYTHING anyone suggested airing the house out vinegar baking soda etc. Then someone mentioned Fresh Wave.I was very skeptical but I bought a jar and in 12 hours the smell was gone. ABSOLUTELY vanished!! It was the best $15.00 I have ever spent! The jar lasted for several months.
    Works amazingly well but Fresh Wave products do a good job of eliminating odor. The only thing is when I picked this up at Bed Bath & Beyond I was told it would last for 3 months. The Crystals only lasted a month. So I would recommend you get the refill bottles sold at stores.
    This product really works!! This product lives up to the expectations described. It eliminates odors in many different situations. musty rooms teenagers rooms kitchens bathrooms You will not be disappointed with the purchase of this product. It was also offered at a great price compared to regular brick and mortar stores.
    I have 8 in my house all the time I like how these are natural. I always keep one in my bathroom my bedroom my husband's bathroom the master closet my son's room daughter's room in the basement near the litter box and in the basement by the exercise machines. I don't know if they really help but they make me feel better since I would hate people to think my house stinks or smells like artificial scents. Unless I find some other natural room fresheners I will use these always. They are also easy to use since you just take off the lid and you can tell when it is time to change them since they dry up completely and nothing is left in the jar.

    • Very Good My daughter has a tendancy to throw up in the car and though I took apart her car seat and scrubbed it and my car toptobottom I could not ever completely get rid of the smell. My motherinlaw had an ancient bottle of Smells Begone that she gave to me to try and it worked completely and immediately!!!! When it ran out I went on line to try the newer version and it is just as good. I also tried it on cat urine which was unsuccessful to be expected!.
    Works on diaper wastebaskets and dead rat odors Yes like most of the homes in the treelined neighborhood we have critters that get into our attic. A few traps later you get a dead rat or squirrel but sometimes you may not realize it until the foul rotting odors wafts into the interior. Yuck. After the carcass is removed or even before you find/beg/hire someone to do it for you you find that the smell is nauseating and needs a remedy RIGHT NOW!Oh and we also happen to have a baby whose diapers stink up every wastebasketdiaper pail or not. Since cleaning and airing out the home regularly was insufficient and I wasn't willing to just mask with perfumes because of our allergies and asthma and general health I decided to try this slightly expensive innocuouslooking bottle found at my local Ace Hardware. This was before looking at the Amazon reviews and company product info to discover that its main ingredient is sodium chlorite the saltbased deodorizer/sanitizer not the lethal hemolysiscausing concentrationswe hope!Surprise surprise after a few sprays into the hallway and wastebaskets the effect was almost immediate. What dead rat? Never existed. Diapers? Nope no baby here.
    The BEST odor remover! This product does not cover up smells it actually removes them from the air fabric or space. There is no fragrance and it is simple and safe to use.
    Really works!!! Tried everything else and wasn't sure this would be any better but it was. Nothing else could take away the smell on an antique Chinese rug that had been drenched by two generations of aged male cats. Cleaning helped but we were still left with the intense smell of old wool that had been too wet too many times.

    LIfe Saving Product When I first found this amazing product over a decade ago I was working in NYC offices with second hand smoke up to 2K smokes in a 20 minute period official count by City Government agencies. I had air filters et al and this product which helped to reduce the toxins in the air. Eventually my health collapsed as no product could take on such a huge load!That said after a building fire and years of exposure to toxic products during renovations I ended up with true chemical injury and at an end stage. This means near complete collapse of all organs and that even slight chemicals in certain classes caused Anaphylactic type reactions.
    USED THIS UNTIL MY DAD STOPPED SMOKING!! My dad recently quit smoking Until recently though I used this spray to try and get the smoke smell out of my clothes and some of my possessionsIt worked the best at getting the smoke smell off of my clothes. But not as good when I'd go to my friends place and could still smell smoke on my pillow case unless I really doused the pillow case with the sprayThere did seem to always be a minor smoke smell on my pillow case no matter how hard I tried The good news is it did a better job of taking the smoke smell out of my clothes. So I was pleased with that Over all it worked pretty well.but it's no miracle spray.
    A good product that doesn't work The nozzle spray on this product needs to be redesigned. The smell from the bottle itself is great. But the nozzle malfunctions after about a week. This has happened on the past 3 bottles we've used. Sometimes we replace the nozzle pump with another bottle. But please write to manufacturer. This is defective and needs to be replaced. The scent won't work if you you just set out the liquid.
    not effective The product does not deliver all it claims. The packaging broke down when opening it.
    This Stuff is AWESOME!! I use this in shoes and on leather sandals and it works in seconds I kid you not!I bought a cigarette saturated leather purse at a Goodwill store and I soaked it with this and it immeadiately smelled better. I let it dry for a day then soaked it again and the smells were totally gone.
