Great for Multiple Uses We use this to clean almost everything! With two children and a dog we need something that is on the safer side when it comes to cleaning. We used this initially for my first daughter's cloth diapers and then through some experimentation found that it works great for general cleaning when added to laundry floors etc. We have been using this for a couple of years in the Rug Doctor to shampoo our nearly white carpets. It works better than anything else we've ever used.
It is okay I like it for cleaning carpets but that is all. They sent me the stain remover not the all purpose. Also the product was open and taped and the box was wet full of the product. But over all the product was okay.
Love this stuff! This has done amazing work with pet and baby messes. I love the scent and the fact it is made from natural ingredients. I use it to clean surfaces and as a pretreat for laundry items.
PERFECT except for the cost I am allergic to chlorine truly allergic so I love that BacOut as a chlorinefree bleach alternative. I have used BacOut in the past with amazing results. However I am one of the many Americans who is suffering temporary unemployment due to the economy. $40+ for one gallon is so far out of my price range that I have not been able to use this product for a couple of months.
Great for cloth diapering This has been the ONLY product that I've found that gets the leftover stink out of our cloth diapers. A 1/4 cup in the wash is all it takes. We also used it to refill the squirt bottle and keep it on hand in the bathroom to spray the diaper before throwing it in the pail. Also works great to clean up pet messes.
Biokleen is Great for Diapers I have used this product on my daughters diapers for the past year and I believe it does a really good job.
Great for cloth diapers! Biokleen BacOut works really well for our bum genius cloth diapers. I spray this on our diapers after rinsing the solids off and before I place them in the hanging diaper bag/pail. Works awesome on stains and really keeps down the odor.
To cat owners Buy this instead of Poop Off I used to by Poop Off to deal with cat urine odors. Really bad full bladderdump episodes on carpet and bedding.Then for the reasons in my review of Poop Off I stopped buying it.It took a while to find a suitable replacement and BacOut is it.It works on cat urine odors and almost as importantly it smells great.My priorities for this task are simple It has to get the odor out and it has to leave behind a fragrance that is at least tolerable.If it left NO fragrance I would consider it a perfect product. But the smell it does leave is very pleasant.It's hard to say why other than BacOut's lemon limey smell puts a smile on my face while a sniff of Poop Off gives me a headache.See my review of Poop Off for more details.I don't buy BacOut for it's alleged planet friendly greenness.I'm not susceptible to that particular line of propaganda opps I mean marketing.I buy BacOut because it eliminates cat urine odors for me. Cat owners know what I'm talking about. Kind of a combination of burning rubber burning hair and rancid milk. All mixed together!Note I'm specifically talking about the 1 gallon liquid Stain and Odor Eliminator NOT the carpet and rug shampoo.Also I can't really respond to the visual stain removal aspect as my priority is odor elimination and I only use it for that.
Replace Lysol & Febreeze with BacOut in spray bottle works great I stopped using Febreeze years ago and looked up homemade febreeze recipes online.using fabric softener and white vinegarhowever I didn't like the way the homemade stuff worked but once I got Bac Out I put some in a spray bottle and this works great when using it on upholstery the way one would use febreezeit has a very pleasant 'nonchemical' but clean smell and freshens up drapes/carpet/upholstery and any other fabric nicely.I also use it in place of Lysol in the bathroom trash pails etc. again in a spray bottle.It works great as an air freshener too when needed in the bathroom.as opposed to those toxic chemical air fresheners whose residual chemical odor makes me sick!I made some homemade cloth diapers out of our old flannel sheets for my granddaughter and have used this once when laundering as well as in the diaper pail and it worked great.
carpet stain magic! I have used this for cloth diapers for odor control. I recently used it on some blackened stains from rice milk left over time and blueberry stains on our carpet. It lifted them out without a problem! It is a very light beige carpet and I am amazed.
